Why Velvetes
Your brotherhood's colour, always the same.
- 01
The same shade every year
We work with permanent stock references and the physical card as the standard: next year's robe starts from the same colour.
- 02
Your brotherhood's exact colour
If your purple or crimson is not on the card, we develop it by lab-dip from your sample, from 300 metres.
- 03
Matte by candlelight
Cotton does not shine: under candles and street light, the velvet looks deep and free of reflections.
- 04
Stock for Lent
We ship from our Arnedo warehouse without waiting for a new production run, with samples in 48 hours and worldwide shipping.

Frequently asked questions
What brotherhoods ask us.
Which velvet is used for penitent robes?
For robes and capes we recommend 3000 Cotton Velvet: 100% cotton, 280 g/m² and 150 cm wide, with a long drape and deep colour. For pieces with more body, such as valances, the 350 g/m² 3500.
Can you match our brotherhood's colour?
Yes. We start from your sample, a Pantone or NCS reference or one of our 25 colours, and develop the shade through lab-dips until you approve it. Custom colour is supplied from 300 metres and locked for future reorders.
What is the minimum order?
For stock colours, one box per colour, about 45 metres. For custom colour, from 300 metres per colour.
Is cotton velvet suitable for gold embroidery?
Yes. Its short, dense pile holds gold-thread embroidery, passementerie and appliqué. We send samples so your workshop can test it before cutting.
How is a cotton velvet robe washed?
According to the 3000 technical datasheet: gentle machine wash at 30 °C, no bleach, no tumble drying, and iron at low temperature on the reverse. Professional dry cleaning is also possible.
How long do samples and orders take?
Samples ship within 48 hours from Arnedo, Spain. Stock colours are supplied without waiting for production; for Holy Week, we recommend ordering well before Lent.
Do you ship outside Spain?
Yes, we ship worldwide from our stock in Spain.
