Frequently asked questions
What bridal ateliers ask us.
Which velvet is best for a bridal lehenga?
We recommend 3000 Cotton Velvet: 100% cotton, 280 g/m² and 150 cm wide, with a dense, matte pile and a long drape. For wedding décor and seating, the 350 g/m² 3500.
Does cotton velvet hold heavy zardozi and dabka work?
Yes. Its short, dense pile holds heavy gold-thread embroidery, dabka, sequins and aari work without distorting. We send samples so your karigars can test it before cutting.
How is cotton velvet different from polyester or micro velvet?
Cotton velvet is made from a natural fibre, with a matte, velvety surface and deep colour; it does not have the plastic sheen of polyester velvets under wedding lights or on camera.
What is the minimum order?
For stock colours, one box per colour, about 45 metres. For custom colour, from 300 metres per colour.
Can you match our collection colours?
Yes. We start from your sample, a Pantone or NCS reference or one of our 25 colours, and develop the shade through lab-dips until you approve it. Custom colour is supplied from 300 metres and locked for reorders.
Do you ship to India and Pakistan?
Yes. We ship worldwide from our stock in Spain and quote FOB Spain or CIF to your port.
How fast can we get samples?
Samples are dispatched within 48 hours from Arnedo, Spain, together with the physical colour card.
